specialists from banking organizations, police and nationwide CSIRTs of EU and EFTA countries, ECB, Europol and ENISA, talked about new advancements in monetary cyber environment.Some of the topics discussed were: cyber-criminal activity affecting
- the financial community; vulnerabilities, technology trends and
- risks; incidents and case-studies. Emphasizes of the workshop include ENISA’s presentation on brand-new methods to support ISACs in the EU, along with fascinating new developments in details sharing. In addition, agents from other sectorial ISACs, namely energy and air travel, provided how other sectors are working towards responding to cyber-related issues.Moreover, in relation to the financing sector, Europol presented details on the existing
status of cybercrime in the EU, and showcased the key findings and recommendations of its Web Organised Criminal Activity Danger Evaluation( IOCTA). Additionally, the Greek Cybercrime system presented the present regional cooperation models between banks and law enforcement, and provided fascinating examples of cases pertinent for the country.Finally, the FI-ISAC and ENISA discussed about reinforcing the function and jobs between the two entities.
