The Summertime University looks for to use an area for the discussion and acquisition of new knowledge, skills and proficiencies in those computer system technologies which play a central role in Humanities Computing and which figure out every day increasingly more the work done in the Humanities and Cultural Sciences, as well as in publishing, libraries, and archives, to name only a few of the most crucial locations. The Summertime University targets at integrating these activities into the wider context of the Digital Liberal arts, which position concerns about the repercussions and ramifications of the application of computational techniques and tools to cultural artefacts of all kinds.This year’s
European Summer University in Digital Liberal Arts: “Culture & Innovation” will occur on 17-27 July 2018 at the University of Leipzig.
